| Working with our landscape architect, Zebrano project managed this contemporary garden in the summer of 2008. We took an out of date winding, coloured flagstone walkway and a faded terrazzo deck…and gave it a complete new look. We recovered the front deck in limestone rectangle pieces 3ft long x 1ft wide. We installed 5 ft wide limestone slabs as the walkway and 7 ft wide limestone steps to create a focal point for the front of the property. The stainless steel railing was custom made, with matching mailbox and doorbell. Using a combination of grasses and Russian sage for the garden…the linear plan is striking. We may be bias but we think this is one of the most innovative and interesting gardens in Toronto. Most importantly, our client loves the garden. |
