Weekly landscaping, arborists, pools, irrigation, snow removal and landscape lighting, run on one schedule by your Home Manager instead of six separate contractors.
Mature trees, gardens, a pool, irrigation, lighting and a long driveway each need their own trade, at the right time of year. Pool openings, irrigation start-up and shut-down, fall cleanups and the first snowfall all arrive on a deadline, and every contractor is booked solid when they do.
Zebrano books the season ahead. Your Home Manager coordinates every outdoor trade on one schedule, checks the work and keeps the grounds in your Annual Home Care Plan.
Spring: cleanup, irrigation and pool opening, lighting checks. Summer: weekly landscaping, pool service, irrigation adjustments and tree care. Fall: leaf cleanup, irrigation shut-down, pool closing, planting and holiday lighting. Winter: snow removal, ice control and storm checks while you are away.
Toronto protects many private trees, and some pruning or removals need a city permit. We work with certified arborists who handle the application and the work.
Landscaping, pool and snow work is billed through Zebrano as it is done, on the same invoice as the rest of the house. Members buy a minimum of 60 hours of Home Manager time at $121 an hour, with no monthly fees, and unused hours never expire.
Most Toronto pools open from mid to late May and close from mid-September to early October, before nights get close to freezing. Closing properly, with the lines blown out and the pool winterized, prevents freeze damage.
Yes, for a private tree 30 cm or more in diameter, measured 1.4 m above the ground. City street trees of any size, and any tree in a ravine-protected area, also need a permit. Many homes in our neighbourhoods are on the City's ravine map. We bring in certified arborists and handle the permits.
Before the first hard freeze, usually in October. The lines are blown out with compressed air and the backflow device drained so no water is left to freeze and crack the pipes. The system is restarted and checked in spring.
Spring cleanup, lawn care, pruning, bed care and mulching through the growing season, irrigation adjustments in summer, fall cleanup and leaf removal, then snow clearing in winter. Your Home Manager schedules the crews and checks their work.
Yes. Your Home Manager arranges clearing for driveways, walks and steps, with a de-icer that is gentle on stone and masonry, and has snow-melt systems serviced before winter.
There are no monthly fees. Members buy a minimum of 60 hours of Home Manager time at $121 an hour, and unused hours never expire. Trade and maintenance work is billed through Zebrano as it is done, on the same invoice, because every home's needs are different.
Six outdoor contractors, one Home Manager. We book them before the season, check the work and keep the grounds on the same plan as the house.
